a helping hand
We want to make sure that during this difficult time, as the UK faces coronavirus, that everyone is well looked after and has everything that they need. With this in mind, we want to create a local group of people who are happy to help those in need.
If you're interested please send your name and mobile phone number to firstname.lastname@example.org . You will be added to a community Whatsapp group which will then help to coordinate support for our neighbours in need of a little help.
If you are someone who is self-isolating, worried, lonely or in need of any help during this coronavirus outbreak please don't hesitate to get in contact. Even if it's just that you've been self-isolating for a while and need to talk to someone.
We can help with: having a chat, doing some shopping, picking up prescriptions and posting mail. Let us know.
In order to ensure that everyone is our community has what they need at this difficult time we have teamed up with HBC Chester and the local council to provide food for the food bank. Each week the council will contact us and let us know the gaps they have in their food provision. We will then post these needs on our Facebook page and in our 'Groves Support Community' WhatsApp group and ask if you can you help us out by buying these things as part of your next shop. You will find a food bank box on the driveway of 23 Linden Grove. Just pop your donation in the box and rest in the knowledge that you've blessed someone in need from our local community.
